Sarah & Spencer are married!
These two met at Xavier University through the Life After Sunday club. It wasn’t until they attended “Praying the Steps” (an event that’s held on Good Friday where you say a prayer on every step leading up to Holy Cross-Immaculata Church in Mount Adams – I think there’s over 100 steps!) that brought them together. I know God works his magic in unexpected ways and I’m so glad he did for these two.
Fast forward to their wedding day…
After listening to Sarah & Spencer’s first toast of the evening, I thought, “wow! How is anyone going to top that!” They ended up having four toasts and every single one was a hit. Their thoughtful and sincere words (along with some jokes of course… #doughnuts) about this sweet couple left everyone in the ballroom laughing and crying happy tears.
I’m so happy these two were still able to celebrate their marriage during this difficult time with Covid-19. While every guest wasn’t able to attend, they were able to join in on Facebook live. They had a beautiful intimate ceremony at St. Stephens church and reception at the Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum. A big thank you to all the staff involved in their day for making it safe as possible for everyone.
Sarah & Spencer, thank you so much for having us document your special day! We had a lot of fun celebrating you both with your family and friends! We can’t wait to see what God has in store for you in your future together! Xoxo!
